A professional photographer with extensive night-sky experience shoots on location, capturing natural starlight and you together in the same frame.

Natural Cut & Silhouette Cut Editing Available
You can edit it in the styles below to match your desired atmosphere.
-
Natural Photos: The travel atmosphere preserved with subtle retouching
-
Silhouette (Emotional Silhouette) Photography: Capturing a figure as a silhouette against a sunset or starlight background to create an emotional effect.
Campfire & Marshmallow Time
To make the time spent waiting for the stars special, we operate a campfire where you can roast and eat marshmallows while gazing at the fire.
Make your Ritidian night even more special by enjoying sweet treats under warm lights.

Advantages of stargazing at Ritidian
-
Low light pollution: Far from the strong lights of the Tumon/Tamuning hotel zone, the sky remains darker, allowing you to see more stars more clearly.
-
Unobstructed view: With almost no tall buildings or signs obstructing the sky, there are few elements that block the view, allowing for a wide observation extending to the horizon in the direction of the sea.
-
Quiet natural environment: With minimal ambient light and a secluded atmosphere, the eyes can easily adapt to the darkness, making it advantageous for observing and photographing faint starlight, such as the Milky Way.
-
'A Night of Falling Stars' if Conditions Are Right: Guam experiences clear skies after a squall, so if the timing is right, you can encounter nights with exceptionally clear stars. ( Varies depending on weather, clouds, humidity, and moonlight .)
Stars/Constellations Good for Observation by Season (Based on Guam, Representative Examples)
-
Winter (December–February): Orion, Canis Major (Sirius)
-
Spring (March–May): Opportunities to observe Leo, Virgo, and the Southern Cross (depending on the time of day).
-
Summer (June–August): A favorable season for observing and photographing Scorpio and Sagittarius, plus the Milky Way; expect to see meteor showers around August.
-
Autumn (September–November): Autumn constellations such as Pegasus and Andromeda
